Training With Us

Kim is a fully qualified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor, offering a range of fitness and weight management solutions, delivered either as one-to-one coaching or in a group class environment to help you to meet and exceed your goals. 

Our face-to-face sessions usually take place at Heavy Metal Gym in Ilkley, or at Ilkley Rugby Club.  However, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, all classes and PT sessions are currently subject to the changing restrictions, with many as live online classes via Zoom video-conference or FaceTime.

A full range of Personal Training and Coaching solutions are available, designed to meet your needs.  Whether you require a training programme to work on in your own time, varied and challenging one-to-one exercise sessions, weight management advice and mentoring, or full-service coaching with bespoke, relevant plans, KF Fitness can help. All classes are fully scalable, to offer both beginners and the more experienced alike an energetic, fun, high-intensity workout.
Our classes are suitable for adults of all ages, from 16 years old up.

Class bookings can be made via the links provided.  In-person classes are limited by current Covid-19 restrictions, online classes are capped at 30.  All classes operate a 24 hour cancellation policy.

Boxercise Online - Tue 19:00

Combining shadow-boxing combinations and techniques with bodyweight exercises, this is an incredible all-over work out that tones muscles, improves cardiovascular fitness, burns loads of calories and provides a great way to relieve stress and boost self confidence.

Home Circuits Online -
Wed 07:00 and Thu 17:30

Utilising bodyweight exercises and only equipment/objects that you will have at home, this fun, high intensity circuit-based class will help you maintain and improve strength, endurance and tone in a full-body workout, while burning lots of calories!

Bells'n'Bands - Wed 19:00 and Thu 09:15

A 45 minute conditioning workout using resistance bands and kettlebells/dumbbells, designed to strengthen and tone your whole body. Exercises are fully scalable to ensure that this class is suitable for adults of all abilities. This class is fully compliant with Covid-19 restrictions and so places are extremely limited. Kim Ferris - the "KF" of KF Fitness

After taking up and falling in love with weight training, thanks to the expert coaching of the Billington brothers at Heavy Metal Gym when she joined in 2014, Kim decided to take the career change plunge and become a Fitness Instructor in July 2019. Kim offers a range of classes that are both fun and functional, aimed at improving strength and condition for particular activities or outcomes. Kim is a familiar face in Ilkley as she is First Team Manager at Ilkley Rugby Club. Kim's exercise history includes horse riding, athletics, hill walking, martial arts and yoga, and when in the gym she enjoys training in a powerlifting style, although she has recently dabbled in CrossFit too! Kim is also a firm advocate of the benefits of exercise for good mental health and wellbeing.


We are happy to add more classes if there is sufficient demand to do so.  If you would like to attend a class but the current time or day does not suit you, please get in touch with your preferences so that we can review requirements regularly.
